File transfer question

Question, if you are sending files from one pc to another by means of a third PC that has access to shares on the first two, is the system "smart" enough to know to send them directly between the two or are all files sent through the third pc that is requesting the transfer?

It depends on your networking devices and the type of network set up.

If they are connected to a hub, the computer sends the data to every computer.

Switches and Routers will send the data to the right computer.
