Ethernet Problems

Thanks for replying.

I now think it's driver(or windows) related, my ethernet connection is working on Slax.

I've tried downloading the original drivers for my computer (Fall 2003 Original Network Adapter Driver Collection*Compaq Presario S5150UK Desktop PC)

but they didn't work and now when I try and uninsntall them it says "Windows requires these to boot" (Not sure of the exact wording.) Any help on findning the right drivers and uninstalling the old ones?

I had a look around, but I could only find the original drivers (same one's you found).
Honestly, some drivers are near impossible to find.

At this point it's probably a good idea to just buy an additional pci lan card, save yourself a lot of hassle
