Hello. I work at a large corporation in the I.T. Dept. A couple months ago, we were using software called Desktop Authority which mapped a users network drives everytime they logged into their computer. We ran into several issues when we started rolling out Windows 7 PC's. To fix the issue we had with Desktop Authority, we had to create a file called slbypass which bypassed Desktop authority upon logon. We finally upgraded the Desktop Authority where it now supports Windows 7. Question, is there a program or utility that I can access employees C drives (all of them are shared by default - C$) instead of tying in their individual computer names? Also, is there a program where I could scan their C drives and look for that slbypass file so I can delete it? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
