Duplicate emails

I've got a client who keeps receiving duplicate emails. The emails just keep coming through until the email is deleted off the server. Unfortunatelty this only happens once every week or two.

Is there anything on his PC that could be causing this? He uses Outlook Express, Zonealarm and CA Antivirus.

if he use outlook express and if he is using pop3 to retrive mail then it should clean up the server after receiving all the emails. It happens to me also some times. Try to reconfigure outlook express.

WHat did you do to reconfigure Outlook Express?

they might mean try removing and readding the account in OE


where are OE's dbx files located? I've seen a similar issue with full blown Outlook where the pst file were on a network server. Something would get screwed up during a read/write to the network server and the user would get emails duplicate times.
