DSL - A Funny Question:) Service----

We have a phone line to the house, but no service... (We are all cell-phones now). Does DSL require that you have a phone service, or is merely the line enough?

I thought it was an odd question, maybe someone here knows

Good question...call your ISP. I think that you can get just the DSL service..

I think DSL requires you to have phone. It comes with it I guess, but when we got DLS we already had phone so I am not sure. Ask them.

I had a whole new cable installed coming from the road... That's over here in England - but it doesn't touch our telephone jacks. Ig uess that might just be a cable connection, all the DSLs need a phone connection though...
