Prep yourselves for a stupid question. I've become so annoyed trying to find the answer on google that I thought I would just ask lol.
I currently have a BT Business Hub to connect to the internet/for my pc's to speak wirelessly.
However, I have purchased a new netgear n600 router due to the higher wireless speed which I now need.
The big question:
Can I simply unplug the cables from BT hub, and plug them into the Netgear. I can't seem to get any internet connection this way. I have the suspicion that the BT hub is a modem/router combined and this is why it will connect to the internet, but the netgear will not. Do I need to purchase a separate modem? or should the DSL cable plug straight into the Netgear and work like it does on the BThub?
Sorry again for the silly questions. Thanks for you help.
