Hey, all. This problem stems from a situation we thought I had figured out a few days ago.
For a few years, we have had no problems like this until now, so we don't know what was changed to cause this to happen.
We are running a mixed (PC/Mac) intranet.
Our Win2000 server leases IP addresses via DHCP.
The PCs have no problem obtaining their IP information and can be viewed from the command prompt and ipconfig.
However, the (stupid) imacs running OS 9 obtain a dynamic ip address, but no DNS address. Thus intranet is available, but not internet access.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Options/settings to check? If more information about this part of our network is required, I'll be checking back frequently until I get something figured out. Thanks in advance.
