DHCP Addressing

My ISP disconnects my DSL PPPOE connection every 24hrs. DHCP shouldn't disconnect me when my lease time is up right? why am I still getting disconnected, its always at the same time everynight. Can DHCP assign a NEW IP to my PPPOE connection while I'm still connected?

Windows automatically attempts to renew a DHCP lease when it is 50% used up. The disconnection problem shouldn't have anything to do with DHCP.
