Dead Cisco Catalyst 2900 XL

I have a Catalyst 2900XL Series (WS-C2924-XL-EN) here in front of me.
The switch was unused for over a year.
Now I plugged in the power cable but the switch is not booting. The system l
ed is orange and all port leds are green. Expect the first port led, this le
d is orange.
I can not connect via serial cable.
What´s wrong here?

does it have a console port? if so, connect the computer's COM1 with a converter and a rollover cable to the console port. Is it what you did for "connect via serial cable?

Yes it has a console port. I´ve tried to connect to with the default cisco setting. I also tried it with several speed options.
Without success.

when you plug the console with computer's COM1 with a converter, is the light of the console port on or off?
