DD-WRT Control Panel Problem

I recently installed the DD-WRT firmware for my wireless router but when i go to log into the DD WRT control panel online it wont let me log in. I left the user name blank and typed in admin which is the default password but it still wont let me in. Maybe i chose the wrong firmware for my router because i have a Dell True Mobile 2300 router but the control panel says its a Linksys WRT54G/GL/GS. Is there anyway to fix that?

Did you try to use Admin as the username?

The default user name is root and the password is admin
