d-link problem

i have jus got a new laptop n it wont connect to my d-link wireless router.when i press connect to a network my wireless network comes up but it doesnt connect for some reason ive been trying everything to get it working.

identify the nic in the laptop

goto dlink website

try to find a utility to confgure the device; usually packaged with the driver

stop & disable windows zero configuration service; control panel > admin tools > services.msc

install utility

follow instructions for utility



you can check the system log in event viewer for clues as to why the device isn't working.
