i need help configuring my d-link wireless adapter on linux 91. pro, i have no clue about anything in linux and any help will be very much appreciated.

What d-link are you using? It says that there are no install guides available but there is a list of what drivers are available on this page:

Linux is a big world, if you own suse then they'll give you good help and if your lucky someone may just write up a driver for you, either that or someone already has somewhere which is the more likely, i suggest google as being your friend here :)

I think Oronico has the most compatability with linux. I had problems as well with my D-Link DWL-G650 AirPlus card. I read somewhere that they are not using the same chipse they used to.

Puk is right Linux is a big world and somewhere someone has made it work.
