As the title reads, I'm trying to connect my new linksys WTR54GL router to our standard siemens gigaset SE567 modem/router.
I read somewhere that as soon as you connect a router to the modem/router the modem/router would switch to modem mode and automatically identify the external router, but this isn't happening.
Basically, I plugged the cable from port 3 on the router/modem to my router's "internet" port.
I'm able to connect to both routers no problem, except my external router has no internet.
Do i need to set a specific setting, or am I missing something more obvious.
