Connected; Only few bookmarked sites are displaying

I am having Xp Prof-SP2, Google, Tech Forum is showing up, probably its b/c they are bookmarked.
But youtube, yaho news and numerous other sites can't dispaly, why is that?

Can't display when you go to the website?

If so there is probably some type of content advisor program like netnanny. Could also be blocked by your work or school if you are on their networks.

It's my home desktop and sites which failed to load are so famous like news. yahoo.com and various other. Google was bookmarked but if you go to search or news, it failed.
Sometimes , network disabling-enabling helped but not all times.

It sounds like it only loads cached websites. try accessing sites you never visited. Also check your download and upload speed. Next go to Command Prompt and type Tracert yahoo.com . post the results or any inconsistencies. Also when did you notice this problem? And did you install or change anything around the time this problem has started?
