Hi There,
I currently own DIR-825 and DAP-1522. I use DAP-1522 in bridge mode. I configured the DAP-1522 to connect in 801.11a to 801.11a SSID configured on the DIR-825. There is a wall between DIR-825 and DAP-1522 and they are 20' apart from each other. I tested the download and upload speeds and it only gates 1.8 Mbits download and 700 KBits upload. Is there a way to improve it? Dlink has something call Full Media mode that requires another DAP-1522. One connected to the router in Acccess Point mode and another one is configured in Bridge mode. Will I get a better result if I configure the Full MediaBand (5GHz wireless) Network? Can you please explain, if you know, the difference between the bridge mode and full media mode if both units supposedly communicate using 801.11a signal. I prefer not to buy another DAP-1522 if I do not have to.
