Sorry for the stupid question but would a hp monitor work with a DELL PowerEdge 400SC computer. I really don't know alot about this stuff. but help would be nice thanks.

When it comes to external peripherals like Monitors, Keyboards and Mice, the manufacturer really doesnt make a difference.

You can have an HP monitor with a Dell computer using a Logitech Mouse and an IBM keyboard.. and it will all work!!

and if they gave you a cd with the monitor, you dont need it. at least ive never needed it.

anyone know why they give those things anyways?

The driver's that come with the monitor's normally include color profiles ..n' a driver ..to ensure smooth plug n' play operation when u change resolutions etc..

The color profiles are so that u see the rite colors on the monitor which wouldn't differ when u take print outs
