Hey guys, I got stumped on something. I'm doing another packet tracer

Instructions
pastebin - Stuff - post number 2136364

ROUTER 1 FA0/0 172.16.1.1 255.255.255.224
ROUTER 1 FA0/1 172.16.1.33 255.255.255.240

SWITCH 1 VLAN1 172.16.1.2 255.255.255.224

PC1 172.16.1.30 255.255.255.224
PC2 PRECONFIGURED SETTINGS

So I figured out all the address that should be assigned to the ports and nodes. What I'm not sure on is, I'm asked on the router and switch to " Use class as the encrypted password for privileged EXEC mode." and than "Require password-protected logins for the console line. Use cisco as the password." and
"Require password-protected logins for the vty lines. Use cisco as the password."

Now I'm a tad confused on these commands, does anyone have any examples. Also just to make sure I fully understand this EXEC mode is super user "#" correct? and the the require password on console line is just making it a password to even login in to the router correct? And the command password-protected logins for vty lines is just so the passwords are not shown when typed? I find it funny, it seems easier to assign address to a device and change speeds than it is for me to set passwords lol.

Access to switch2 is disabled but it appears that the port is shutdown, how do I configure it with the console port being disabled?
