Hi all, I've recently been given a task of redesigning a network as part of my course. Anyone able to tell me what this CIDR block means please

235.85.105.64/27 - 235.85.105.128/27

It is to be used at 15 major nodes/hubs with 1500+ PCs each.
thanks in advance for any replies.

The /27 means that you have a subnet mask of 255.255.255.224
You have an ip range of 64 addresses, 62 of which are usable.

It sounds like you're going to need to find a block of IP addresses that will support over 1500 hosts and be able to have at least 15 subnets.

Here's a hint, you're going to want at least a class B network for this.
