Ok i just reinstalled xp and like always i always get dumb viruses before i can update and install everyhint well this new one i got dosent allow me to go to some websites. Like microsoft or any anti virus websites like nortons or McCoffee so i really need help on fixing this little problem of mine.

run Hijack This and show us your report.
edit your hosts file in...
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\lmhost
in there it most likly has www.mircrosoft.com / www.google.com what ever set to 127.0.0.1 so when you go there it trys to get the information from your local host...and times out.
