Ok, so I'm trying to connect to the network printer on my wife's new laptop which has Windows 7 home 64bit. My computer is running 32bit XP with the HP Photosmart 7660 printer conected. I can print remotely from other computers in the house running XP and Windows 7 32 bit but not with this 64 bit version.

I did a google search and found a couple posts on the issue but nobody realy replied or had even some ideas. I'm hoping you guys are better!

I can connect the printer directly to the laptop by following these steps for Vista:

Installing HP Photosmart 7660 Printer on Windows Vista

But when I try and connect over the network I'm prompted for the .INF file.

Anyone have any ideas? Super rep to be had!!!

Find the 64bit driver for the computer, install the driver, and point it to the INF when it prompts you.

No luck, downloaded the recommended drivers for 64 bit and installed them but could not find an INF file to direct to. Went through every file.
