Cant access shared folder on server

Is the everyone group or authenticated users group part of that list? The objects are important here now that you are in a domain, if you are not a member of those security groups you won't get access.

With full control correct? Do any of those groups have deny?

I know lot of questions, but these things make a different. Permissions are additive, so you get the highest level permissions granted when you compare NTFS and share folder & file permissions. The exception is deny, deny overrides anything. So if you are part of a group that you explicitely said deny to you won't have access.

You didn't mention the server version, if you go to the share locally and go to permissions, there is an effective permissions tab. Check your account to verify windows 'believes' you should have full access.

Nobody is denied access(you had me scared for a second.. never checked that)

Its windows server 2012 and PCs are running windows 7 PRO

ANd im not seeing an effective permissions tab

No, this is where you can test permissions.

Click select a user, choose someone that isn't working and see what their effective permission is.
