Can't access router settings?

Well I had a username and password, changed them so I'd remember.

Just went to sign in now and what I'm putting in is incorrect. Which is very odd as I know what I put(same as what I use to log on password wise and username I know), I've signed it before so I really don't get what is going on.

By router settings I mean when I type 192.168.0.1 into the browser bar.

Is there any way I can somehow re-set it? My router is the D-link DIR-615

should be a hard reset button on it (usually a little hole you can put a pencil or paperclip in).

You will have to reset all of your settings but that does not take long at all.

And if you need the defualt passwords, you can look the up online.

user: admin
pass: (none)
as is just press enter.

What Hefe said above ^, also guessing you changed your router's IP, thought default IP was 198.168.1.1.

Nope dlink's default is indeed 192.168.0.1 Linksys is 1.1 with no username and admin as the pass.

Got a Linksys router here, username and password is admin for default . And didn't know that about the IP but thanks for the update .

True. You must have a newer linksys. They changed that a few years ago. Seems I am always working on older ones.

I think he has a WRT54GL. Default IP is 192.168.1.1
