I have a compaq presario running windows vista that has always been able to access the internet through a wireless adapter. Suddenly, I can no longer access the internet through internet explorer or mozilla. However, the network status shows I am connected to the internet. I have 2 other laptops in my house, one vista and one xp, that are fine. I even tried plugging an ethernet cable directly into the router (netgear rangemax) and still cannot access the internet. When I check the network connection details, everything looks fine. I am getting an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, etc. I even took the laptop to a free local hotspot and I was unable to access the internet there, as well. I ran a virus scan and it found nothing.
I only had AVG antivirus running and I turned that off. I also turned off windows firewall and stopped it in windows services so I should not have any firewall running on the laptop. I have copied my ipconfig/all and ping stats below. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.
