can connect to router but not to internet

i have a netgear n150 wireless adsl router which is connected to my hp pc.

I am able easily access interne ton my pc, but when i connect my dell latop to the netgear router it connects easily but shows no internet access.

So you can connect to the internet from your PC through the same router? If so, check your IPv4 settings in your network adapter properties. Make sure that it's set to DHCP.

Agreed, it's either going to be DNS or default gateway. Either way the correct config should be delivered by DHCP.
