3-4 ethernet ports on the back and used primarily for gaming
affordable price if you can

I gave you a link directly to NewEgg with a search for WiFi routers. All WiFi N routers can do a/b/g as well. Some cant do a but they will specifiy what they can and cant do. There are ones for $100 less.

All routers work with all cards. I see a bunch of info about it right in the link title.

802.11 a/b/g/n are all there. Range various by router. They only account for a clear line of sight. Since you are going thru floors there is no way any person can tell you if it will work or not.

personally I use the WRT330N, but it seems the times are slipping past me, for I can't find it anywhere. I'd say, just from my limited experience, that any of the 300 series Linksys routers will do for just about anything you need. I used mine for VOIP, gaming, and serious downloading, and to boot I had 3 wired computers and 2 wireless computers, all on it at the same time, never experienced lag based off the router and the VOIP was always crystal clear
