Bridging Connection/ LAN Cable

I have recently tried to bridge the connection of my Xbox 360 on my laptop without success. Whenever I plug my cat-5 cable into my computer it says that it is not plugged in. Soulphire... I call you!

NEVERMIND, I uninstalled and re-installed the adaptor, which I should of thought of in the first place.
