Blocking websites

HOST file aren't really good, imagine having to block every link to yahoo.com because the HOST file can't differentiate links or domains. Like Yahoo! and yahoo.com are two different entries. You can block yahoo.com, then I can bypass it by typing Yahoo!, if you block that, I'll just type mail.yahoo.com and be able to browse anything by using one of the links to the homepage. :p

nice thinking, there are probably hundreds of ways to find ure way into the site
 
I've tried the router blocking feature in my Linksys router and it's miserable.:freak:

Maybe there is some other brands with good support to this particular feature.

Cause you'll be able to close it for the whole users and not for a particular one.
 
Doesn't sound like our Actiontec is much better... Another prob. is that w/ my sons laptop, he can get wireless from the neighbors that don't password protect :(
