Best VPN Option?

Hi everybody,

I need to setup a secure VPN so that the accountant can access files remotely on the server from his location. I've considered services like LogMeIn, etc. but seems like it would be more secure to get my own VPN enabled router/software. What do you think? If you recommend buying my own VPN router can you recommend something specific? Thanks very much

I doubt your setup would be more secure than logmein or a reputable service provider.

I'm thinking of getting a vpn as well, do to my activity I dont want being monitored all the time by comcast. What is the best one you would say? I do not want to change routers and willing to pay say 5 to 7 a month for the service. One that you can log into thru the internet

You can use to normal Windows network connection to setup a VPN to any system you wish.

It is secure and you do not need to pay for any thing.

Their are a couple of things you will need to do at the reciving end, but they are simple and then you can loggin to the server.

I have a system like this and after I login to my network, I use PCanywhere to access every thing on the computer/server.

You can google how to set up a VPN on Windows, setup takes about 5 minuetes.
