Hello all, my wireless network adapter (Belkin model F5D7050) has not been functioning at all recently. I have a feeling it has something to do with the drivers, but when I reinstalled the Belkin Wireless Utility it doesn't start and a error message comes up on screen saying "Winsock failed to initialize." Since the wireless utility doesn't work properly, windows doesn't recognize the adapter and I can't connect to the Internet (currently typing this from another computer in the house).

What do I do to make the adapter work properly?

I don't know if this problem is related, but when the computer starts up this series of error messages comes up...

Thanks in advance for any help.

First of all these are not belkin errors, they seem to be mcaffe. But i have had alot of trouble with belkin adapters and i simply just uninstall the software from add and remove, and also check in the local hard drive, under program files to see if there is still a belkin folderthere and i delete it if there is. i install the drivers and software, but an error message will come up stating that the driver is unsigned but i click something ANYWAY, which carrys on installing. i still have the trouble at times with my connection dropping and that, so i untick "Use this software to manage...." in the belkin software and so the windows wireless is use able. I Hope this helps and makes sense.
