Hello,

What the heck is the trick to this darn thing?
This is my first try at home networking.
It works fine when there arent any problems.

But when I get these strings of random disconnects, What the heck can I change to fix it? All the settings are the same as before.
I tried hitting the reset button. The firmware was updated last string of disconnects I got for no reason.

Only thing I been doing is trying to port foward for bittorrent.
I was watching part of a downloaded movie..while waiting for download to resume.. then start getting disconnects.
I switched everything back to before i forwarded ports.
reset unplugged, and it still giving me trouble.
Any ideas?

with these random disconnects, is it the computer getting disconnected from the rotuer, or router losing internet connection?

First suggestion is to unplug ALL of the cables, then plug them back in. A loose cable can cause intermittant problems... better to pull it out, then plug it in again than just look at them.

Hi, thanks for reply.

I dont know what I changed, but all seems normal today.
So far.

Sorry I cant explain better, Maybe I had it to the point it just needed a reboot last night. But it was late, family member said they had no problems this morning.

I think they did a complete re-vamp after V3

I had the exact same issue with one, randomly blocking clients. Also was routing traffic improperly. Replaced it (with an older version) and works great.
