anyone battling spam?

recently, there's a influx of spam to our network. I was thinking of sifting through mail headers to try to find some common servers. then i found this page

we could have the sender "register" their address to be allowed in the system. this would link the email address with the sending server.


I really want to avoid flagging spam tho. it would be a pain to check for false positives.


any ideas on how to battle spam?

If it just for personal use. Do what I do. Have 2 email accounts. One is my private account, the other is my public account.
