Any way to tell if internet disconnects are from ISP or on my end?

Seems like almost 3-4 times a week, sometimes maybe more that my internet drops for a moment. Didn't really notice it until I started playing SWTOR....

I recently about 4 months ago bought a new router too.

Is there any way for me to determine if my internet drops are due to router or some hardware issue or if it's in fact my ISP reseting the signal?

Yes and no... You are given an IP for a set amount of time, once that time is up, your router automatically drops it and requests a new one, as it was told to do so by the DHCP server, on your ISP end. The same also sometimes occurs with local network devices.

Can you call your service provider when it drops connection? I had the same issue and it was caused by an out of date modem. Replaced the modem and no more random disconnects during gaming.
