Any free packet scanner?

I would like to scan the packets coming at my FTP server. I see many people love to get in my FTP server, Is there anything so that I can scan the packets coming and I can kick their ass If I want to?

Yeah rajunpl it's called setup basic authentication on your
IIS server and just email the username and password to
people you want accessing your box.
