My elder cousin continously surfs porn sites in the Internet. I dont have the guts to tell him to stop it. Im worried because it might be the reason my computer has a slow downs. I usually ending up formatting my whole hard drive just to clean those nasty worms, virus, etc.

Now my question is, is there a certain software, preferrably free software which enables me to type the address of the porn site and other high risk ones and preventing it from loading the page? I used to do in under Internet Options then Restricted Sites, I type the address but still it loads the page although it just prevents me from downloading JavaScripts etc...

Hope you can give me some links in downloading whatever software it is and stop this porn dilemma. ^_^

you can do this in windows internet setings, however pron is a huge percentage of the internet so either way if he wants porn he will get it, best bet is getting soem parental control software. Zone Alarm security suit has a parental control system that will block any websites that fall into selected categorys by user. basically you tick adult/xxx/porn websites and zonealarm will block it. this is not obvious as it tells you the site is unsafe and thats it

If you run Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you can make him a seperate account. This account of his should be in the User group or as it's called "Limited" user account. This will help mitigate software installation on your computer. Make sure you always password protect the admistrative account and never let him use that account.
