Access Point

Can you provide more info about how you are wanting to set this up?

If you are wanting to use this Belkin F5D7230-4 as an access point, you will want to log into the router's config page. From here, you will disable DHCP on this router, and make sure that the router is in the same subnet as the other router. (your Linksys is likely using IP address 192.168.1.1, with a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, so give the Belkin a static IP address of 192.168.1.2 with a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, and use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway.). From here, all that is left to do is configure the wireless portion of the Belkin, and then connect the two routers together, LAN port to LAN port. Access Point is now setup. :D

I actually got it to work 5 minutes after my second post. You got most of it right, except for the last part. I did wireless to wireless, so both routers have 4 free lan ports.

No, mine was right..... Mine was for access point... if you were going wireless to wireless, that is bridged... :p

Glad you got it working though.
