Hi, i am new here but does anyone know how i can access my home computer from at work. I am allowed to listen to music at work, but i cant upload them to the companys computers. I also cant bring my iPod in as theres a health and safety rule, plus the clearners like to go rummaging through your drawers.
I was wondering if i could connect to my home PC, via the internet using an IP address. When i try to connect to it using my IP address i just get a box saying
"The server xx.xx.xxx.xxx at WRT54G requires a username and password.
Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)." i have replaced the IP address with x's. I do not know my username and password. I also do not know what the WRT54G is, Please help
