I've tried spybot, cleaning registry and can't seem to reset my browser. Thanks in advance for your help, it would be appreciated tremendously!

The problem.

I guess I should have done a better job explaining. My home page is set to "about:blank" and cannot be changed, I'll reset it over and over but it alway resets. From what research I've done on the net it looks like it's known as a hijack. All kinds of pop-upscome through which I've added to "POW".

I'm trying to reset the homepage to MSN.

I've run Spybot and cleaned the registry back and forth but no luck getting rid of it.

Can you reccomend a solution???

can't find the software

Thanks for the link kboy but the removal method calls for SpySweeper and KillBox neither of which I can find. It appears they are both discontinued or something.

I do have the other software:
AdAware
SpyBot
HiJackThis
CWShredder

Any ideas on where to go from here???

How about a Re-Install of IE? I also heard that IE has a repair function of itself.

gone but returned

I followed the instruction with the link provided by kboy (thanks again), with the exception of the step using KillBox which I could not find the upload.

The about:blank went away, but after opening up IE and opening Yahoo it returned. Back to exactly the same way as before.
