As mentioned in the title, i have a 3Com Superstack II Netbuilder 221 router, when I power on the device all of the lights in the front come on and stay lit up. Having went to college for networking and the likes, I've dealt with some router issues. However nothing like this. The router was given to me and naturally I took it simply because I know how much these things used to cost.
I'm not for sure if it's actually in working condition, nor do I have any clue if it has a config on it, I'm assuming it does and is because it was simply unhooked and put in storage. I don't have a Console cable to hook up to it, or I would check to see if it was booting, also the Ethernet port isn't assigning an IP automatically, but that could be something set in the config (if there is one) If anyone has any ideas as to why it may be doing this, let me know.
What I've checked so far:
Power cord, swapped it out. Thought there might have been a short.
RAM, Swapped it out. Thought it might have gone bad.
