Default VMware and *nix

So i've been playing around a LOT with Vmware server and such. I'm having problems with a lot of linux distros tho..

a few examples are solaris 10, Fedora Core 6(see attatchment) and I believe suse was another example..

the video sucks and i can't see what i need to on the screen... not sure what I can do.

I would think it's a problem with VMware server itself. I've never used it, but I do use the workstation edition and never ran into any of that problem before.

If you could list your computer spec, especially the video card and monitor, that might be helpful also.

the host server doesn't even have a monitor attatched, my latitude-c610 laptop with 16 meg video connects with the vmware server console(has video issue on VM) and my dimension 4100 with 32 meg AGP video has the same issue as well, only inside the VM tho...regular video is fine...the monitor on the dimension is a LG flatron 19" Widescreen LCD
