Vista loads instead of Linux

just installed Linux on an old 40GB IDE drive so i could dual boot it with Linux i'm a complete Linux n00b but my problem is when i switch on my PC it dosn't load grub so i can choose just goes straight onto vista

help would be cool

Edit, its ubuntu 7.04 feisty fawn (what a name :D)

you could also try the Gparted Live CD, Although You can acess Gparted through the Ubuntu Live CD I belive, still the Gparted Documentation provides a very good starting point, maybe this will help: GParted -- Documentation

Could also be a Hardware issue, just make sure everything is hooked up right
