What is that program that allows you to run your Windows desktop? You often see it when they are showing off Beryl... Anyone have any ideas?

Also, is it possible to install Linux and use Windows boot loader so I can have it in a simple list?

Thanks for the help. ;)

Are you talking about emulating windows programs or emulating windows? For emulating programs you could use WINE, or for the latter VMware.

EDIT: For your second question, GRUB isn't a simple enough list for you?

The Windows boot loader will only boot Windows.

Just edit your /boot/grub/menu.lst to fit your needs. Rearrange the entrys, the syntax is fairly obvious.

You're on your own with XGL/Compiz.

There's a link for Ubuntu user if you want to run XGL/Compiz, and I'm pretty sure that's VMware for Linux running Windows XP there.

You can't get boot.ini file to boot Vista, so I don't think you could use Vista boot loader to load Linux either, easiest route, just use Grub dude.
