I've got a test computer, nothing big, Pentium 4 3.0ghz 1gb RAM 80gb SATA HDD... running Ubuntu 8.10 32 bit. I am using it to try and set up an image server. I am going to run this on a closed network, meaning no external access.
Simply my server + 24 port gigabit switch + the client machines which will be PXE booted to be cloned.
The problem is, when I set up the server, it gives me the green light to PXE boot my client machine. But when I boot the client machine, it simply says connection timed out. It's as if my DHCP service on the CloneZilla Server doesn't respond.
Does anybody have any idea at all of what I could do to fix this?
