Beryl is incompatible with Xinerama (multiple monitors bonded together to create a larger desktop). Beryl requires the XRandR extension, and Xinerama disables it. Beryl is compatible with Twinview, a nVidia-only feature similar to the hardware-neutral Xinerama.
