I never did this before so im wondering if this is normal. At work i got my computer right now installing Debian and its connected to a router and the computer that is on the other end that is also connected to the router is getting cut off the internet. i know its from the debian installing but what i want to know is. Will it do that when the system is completely set-up ? Will that windows computer get cut-off i dont want my co-worker to kill me :D.

I'm in agreement with General & sevoma,

Somthing is wrong with your router, It shouldn't be doing that, does it do that in the Windows system? You could always try Another Distro see if that works, if you run into the same issue you know it's the router for sure...
