Linux for iBook G3

I've got an old iBook G3 lying around, currently its running OS 10.4 which runs decent considering the hardware it's running on. I was wondering if their is any kind of linux I can install on a computer with a PPC processor that is lightweight and is good for taking notes in class until I get a better laptop.

It has 384mb of RAM and a 600MHz cpu.

There is/was a PPC port of ubuntu but it was pretty slow on a G4. Honestly if OSX is usable you may want to stick with that since even if you do find a lightweight distro that still supports PPC drivers will likely be very hard to come by.

I used to run Debian PPC edition on my iBook G4. It ran beautifully, even faster than OSX 10.4. Problem was the lack of flash for PPC Linux builds, which is kind of a big deal for me since I only use that laptop for aim and youtube for the most part. I have since just put OSX back on and tolerate it.
