Jolicloud on desktop pc

has anyone tried using Jolicloud on desktop pc? if so is it any good? cuz im looking for a new OS for my desktop. im using windows 7 64 bit right now and its kinda boring and i want a change...

I've never tried it personally, but it's not going to work that great. It's written fairly specifically for netbook hardware (Atoms and such), and so likely doesn't have drivers for your GPU and such. I could be wrong, you should check out the Jolicloud forums to see if anyone else has tried it (which is likely).

If you're running Chrome you can try it out in the browser.

It's such a huge downgrade from Windows 7. It's a cloud based OS... I've used it on my netbook for a while, but it just wasn't good enough.

If you're looking to have fun... Try out a real Linux distro

Agreed. I tried it when it was released (and the RC) and while it was't bad it just didn't have everything.
