N nak-1 In Runtime Messages 168 Apr 8, 2004 #2 This may be useful try the following link for a pretty reasonable guide to rebuilding a 2.4.x or 2.6.x kernel. http://www.digitalhermit.com/linux/kernelv2.html One point to add, remeber to run lilo, if you are using it, after you have built and installed the kernel or it will not load when you rebot the machine.
