Hello all

I need a good 64bit linux after trying xp64 Beta and not likeing it i have decided that Linux is the way to go. But i have abslutly no experence with Linux so an OS that is easy to use is a must.

also the partition i will use has ntfs from win64 will that be a problem.

any help would be mutch apprecated.
Thank You

P.S I posted this in genral os and softwere to.

I'm not 100% sure of the best 64 bit version now, I'm getting my 64 bit computer in a couple days here, so I'll find out soon, however, NTFS will be a problem, linux isn't made to handle NTFS, and won't run on it, if you are running Windows on NTFS, you should probably get a program like partition magic and partition your drive to allow you to boot linux and windows on separate partitions.

I'm glad you chose Linux, your now open to a wide variety of applications absolutely free made by regular users like ourselves!

i would recommend getting suse. its easy to use and has 64bit capabilities. however you must get the pro version which seems to cost $90. i think its worth the money, you get a better os and its exactly what you wanted and you don't have to wait next year for it.
