The short answer is yes, dual booting would be the way to go.
It boils down to hard drive space and the amount of options you can do with your computer. Both OS's have their ups and downs, if you dual boot you get the best of both worlds. If you dual boot you also will have to decide how to divide storage memory amongst the OS's.
If the computer is just for general use I suggest dual booting. You can always remove the unwanted OS anyways.
