cygwin

I tried to install cygwin, i did manage to install it, however when i start it up(it is running bash shell), it goes not do anything. not even ls, i get the pwd though.

i got cygwin on win 2k working like a beast lol

um... i reccomend just reinstalling it. Make sure you have the BASH SHELL properly installed. Thats All I can think of, sry

if it is the bash... thats wierd. It should have all the cmds..

hmm.. well i hoped this was sum use.

i have left it on for the moment. i have got a distro of linux on my other box, when i advance a level on that box, perhaps i will understand what the issue is.

i will revisit cygwin in a month i guess
